The SportingPulse Membership Database is hierarchical meaning that if you login at League level for example, you also have the ability to provide all Clubs with their individual login details as well as Clubs can then provide their Coaches/Team Managers their login details to manage solely their Team and nothing else.
The reason why it's a good idea to provide each Coach/Team Manager their Team login details to the database is because they will then be able to easily do functions such as put in Match Results solely for their Team and also use the Communicator functionality which allows them to Email and/or SMS their Players/Parents for things such as traning/game cancellations etc. At the Team level login, they will only be able to access details for Players that belong to that particular team and no-one else, this is done for security/privacy reason.
You can find out what each Teams login details to the database are by following the below steps-
- Click on the
icon which is located directly under the organisations name - Click on "Password Management" which is found under "Manage Users and Security"
- Click on "Teams in Competition" (if you don't see this screen, please contact your League as it's a permission setting at their level)
- The list of all Teams in Competitions within the current season will then be displayed. Simply provide each Coach/Team Manager with their respective Username and Password and let them know that the entry point for the Membership Database system is reg.sportingpulse.com
