SportingPulse Mobile updated, now with ladders

Overnight we updated our mobile website http://m.sportingpulse.com with a series of design tweaks and the addition of ladders.

If you're unaware, the mobile site gives you the ability to quickly check your fixture and latest results on your smart phone.

To access your competitions ladder just navigate to your fixture as usual and tap the ladder button in the top right of the screen.

As previously mentioned, we've also made a number of small updates to provide a more consistent experience including:
  • Added back button
  • Added high resolution images and icons for Retina displays
  • Widened interface, fields and buttons for landscape viewing
  • Implemented a minimum viewing height for better spacing in the web app view
  • Nicer "No leagues could be found" screen
  • Byes now display clearer in fixtures
  • Larger "Detailed Results" button
  • Updated colours on some elements
  • Minor spacing improvements
To check out the new updates just visit m.sportingpulse.com on your phone.

Under the bonnet - Sharing Fixtures/Results on Social Media

A new function has recently been added to our SportingPulse Standard websites as part of a series of changes and updates that will be rolled out across our network of websites in the coming weeks. Our Standard Websites now have the ability to allow you and your members to share fixtures and results via Facebook or Twitter.

To set up this functionality on your website, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your Website Editor
2. Click on ‘Customise Your Website
3. Click on ‘Other Configuration
4. In the ‘Results Display Format’ drop box select ‘Teams Scores (vertical) [By Round]
5. Click ‘Save

The fixtures and results on your website will then display the Facebook and Twitter icons as shown below.  Clicking on the icons will then give members the ability to share a fixture/result with their Facebook friends or Twitter followers.
