Also, from a front end perspective, there are stacks of ways to display your data for your users. With the turnover of sports administrators (well, over the period of the last 11 years that we've been around), thought it would be good provide weekly updates with little snippets of gold you may have missed.
Am going to call this series 'Under the Bonnet' (unless I get a better suggestion in the next week!) You'll see a label for each of these posts, meaning, you'll be able to read them all as a series into the future.

Can someone please tell me how to move active items to the archived items group many thanks
ReplyDeleteHi there - each news item has a setting where you can set a publish and archive date.
ReplyDeleteChadstone Bowls Club needs amending to remove the reference to Strathfieldsaye and adding Chadstone Bowls Club - and then checking to see if the search reflects this amendment
ReplyDeleteI attempted to add a comment under my name but the site would only accept anonymous - my name & email - Bev Baxter - bhbaxter@hotmail.com - Membership Convenor Chadstone Bowls Club - chadstonebc@dodo.com.au
ReplyDeleteHi - yes, if the name of your league or club changes, the search functionality will pick up this change,
ReplyDeletecheers
Actually this has not happened, now when you google search it goes to Strathfieldsaye & I cannot access Chadstone Bowls Club information -Bev Baxter still a little distressed
ReplyDeleteChadstone Bowls Club is in Malvern East & there is a website with pictures. Although it would be good to be able to update information, links - is it possible that we can facilitate this ourselves?
Hi Bev - I think best to contact our support crew. It sounds like you haven't yet changed the club name on your site, via the software.
ReplyDeleteIf you contact support@sportingpulse.com its easily rectified.
From there, your site will appear in Google search (like all other clubs).
Cheers, Andrew
