Swisse AFL National Goalkicker Competition

Swisse are rewarding Australia’s top goal kickers this season with a National Goalkicker Competition that is launching in the very near future on GameDay and throughout the SportingPulse AFL network.

The major prize winner will win a 2-3 hour training session for their team hosted by Swisse ambassador Tom Harley, while weekly prizes of Swisse vitamins will be awarded to the player that kicks the most goals in each round.

How it works:

Goals scored by players will be aggregated during the 2011 Home and Away season by SportingPulse on a seven day interval to produce the weekly competition leaderboard – which will be accessible onwww.gameday.com.au.

Leaderboard Example:

The weekly winner is the player that kicks the highest number of goals in that seven day period, and the major prize winner is the player with the highest total number of goals kicked over the entire Home and Away season.

The Swisse National Goalkicker competition is a wonderful example of harnessing the aggregation that is possible within the SportingPulse network - whereby (in this case) statistics are extracted from AFL leagues all over the country – and we look forward to rolling out more similar aggregated competitions to other sports in the future.
