Competition administrators can now import their fixtures directly into Sportzware Online Membership (SWM), thanks to a small enhancement we launched recently.
This new functionality will allow administrators to devise and create their entire fixture offline using Microsoft Excel, then simply import the fixture into the system - potentially saving significant amounts of time, particularly for leagues or associations with large competitions.

Note: For the Importer to work properly, the data entered into the template must conform to the requirements of the template, otherwise the data will not be imported correctly.

We know that setting up competitions is typically done in the lead-up to a season, which tends to coincide with being a very busy time for associations, leagues and clubs - so we hope this enhancement will have the desired effect of helping to save some valuable time when setting up future competitions.

As always, please feel free to comment below if you have any feedback...

I would like to be able to export the fixtures to excel and make changes to the fileds and times then reimport the modified draw.

Hi - if you use the instructions above, this should be ok (given the season in case has not begun (then we would modify, as opposed to a full replace).
