Hi all,
The time has come and gone for us to let you know that SportingPulse no longer support the Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 browser (IE6).
Most reputable companies, such as Google and Adobe have long since ceased support for the browser and Microsoft themselves have been asking people to upgrade for many years now...and why wouldn't you?
We test in browsers including IE 7+, Firefox 3+, Safari and Google Chrome. Now, we still check out IE6 for the 4% of you still using it, but if we are go in the 3 'main' browsers, then from now, we will send our product enhancements live.
If you are concerned about this post and unsure of what to do, contact support@sportingpulse.com and we'll steer you in the right direction to upgrade your browser.
or...comment below.
Cheers, Andrew

Product Blog integration
Hey all,
We are soon to integrate this product blog throughout our administration systems - meaning, you'll be able to read our product updates and strategies when you login to your sites and databases.
This means as well as through our administrator's newsletters, you can now get news on upcoming releases ahead of launch dates. You get a chance to interact with us and have input on our upcoming devel strategies.
Last weekend's AFL drawn Grand Final also gives us the chance to formally wish your team(s) all the best for their upcoming matches this weekend! ...whether you support the Magpies, Saints, Dragons or Roosters.

Venue/Court Allocation System Improvements

We’ve made an improvement to Sportzware Online (SWOL) that will help you if you’re setting up competitions across multiple courts, venues or fields within a single location, as well as for competitions that play on regular days throughout the week.
The new venue/court allocation system is ideal for sports such as Basketball, Futsal and Touch Football who we think will love this improvement.
The new system means you can set match start times for each of your courts or venues, and then - using a drag-and-drop system - place matches for all your competitions onto these start times. With a click of a button, you can then create your entire season’s draws!
Just like home and away comps, these fixtures can always be manually edited later and they can be published to your Sportzware Website with ease.
As part of this improvement we’ve also added a support guide that will help you putting these competitions together and when making registrations forms.Much like the old Paperclip in Word (although far less annoying!) the guide will run you through the steps required to create the comp, and easily allows you to jump between steps in case something you think something has been missed along the way.
The support guide will appear in the right-hand side of your database as soon as you start creating a new competition using venue/court allocation, and has also been introduced for building new registration forms. In the future you will probably see this pop up for other functions, but for now it’s just these two.
In the guide, each of the required steps needed for the creation of either the court allocation competition or a registration form is ordered in the way we would do it (so it’s a good idea to follow), and by clicking on any of these steps you will be taken to the relevant screen.
Just so you know, the guide can be hidden at anytime with the click of a button.
We hope you find these improvements helpful and look forward to continuing bringing you updates in the coming weeks.
